UPCOMING  FIELD COURSES   Old Houses The  1st class will be  Tuesday, October 9th  from 6:30 – 8:30 PM at  Medomak High School, 320 Manktown  Rd. Waldoboro. Remaining classes will  be at member’s barns. Class members will  choose future meeting dates and times, so bring  your calendars! Course Fee: $74. Class members will  choose future meeting dates and times, so bring your calendars!   Course Fee: $74. (The instructor’s share is a donation to the Morris  Farm Trust).

These  courses  are for people  who own or love  old buildings. If  you like, you can sign  up for both the house and  barn course. There will be as  many class sessions as are needed  to give everyone a chance for a visit.   The last class will be a potluck supper at  the instructor’s house, where class members can  visit the 1789 Alna Meetinghouse, the 1838 Head Tide  Church, the Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum, see the instructor’s  cabinetmaking shop and barns, and delve into his extensive reference  library on early buildings. Instructor: Les Fossel Les is one of Maine’s  foremost experts on early buildings. His award-­winning business has specialized  in preserving our early buildings since 1975.
