Artists Reception: Plein Air Painters of Maine
Nickels-Sortwell House Visitor Center and Gallery, Behind 121 Main St., Entrance on Federal St.,
Wiscasset
The Plein Air Painters of Maine display their summer exhibit in the original Nickels-Sortwell Barn, now a
Visitor Center and Gallery. Enjoy the paintings and talk to the artists at this wine and cheese reception
before enjoying Wiscasset’s July Art Walk activities downtown. A portion of painting sales is donated to
Historic New England for preservation of the site. Admission is free.
