First Congregational Church Wiscasset Summerfest

Summerfest – 4th Saturday of July
Every year on the fourth Saturday in July, the Wiscasset Common comes alive with the activities of Summerfest.

This year features the ever-popular dog parade as well as tables selling jewelry, crafts, baked goodies, and treasures. As always, the silent auction will have many wonderful items, including this year a smokeless fire pit and an inflatable stand-up paddleboard. Music during the fair will be provided by Wiscasset’s Jeff Grosser.

The First Congregational Church’s Summerfest began as an all-church affair in 1983, following many years as an annual summer fair held by the Ladies’ Organ Society. Proceeds of the fair are donated to local outreach organizations at a special Sunday in October set aside for the presentations.

Each year we raise and distribute thousands of dollars tto support both local, national and international organizations such as Feed Our Scholars, Habitat for Humanity, Healthy Kids, Lincoln County Dental Clinic, Mobius, Inc., New Hope Midcoast, St. Philip’s Food Pantry, Tedford Housing, and FCCW Special Needs Fund.
