Plaid Friday – A local addition to Black Friday

Plaid Friday is coming up on November 28th! 

Started in opposition to the consumerism of Black Friday, Plaid Friday encourages you to shop locally and support independent businesses. Instead of battling the crowds at big box stores, you can find unique items right here in our community. 

So on November 28th, put on your favorite plaid outfit and show your support for our local entrepreneurs! Snap a picture in your best flannel, post it using the hashtag #PlaidFriday or #PlaidFridayWiscasset, and tag the local businesses you visit. Let’s make this year’s Plaid Friday the best one yet and strengthen our community together!
