Getting Here

From the South

Take 95 North to Maine. Once in Maine, follow 95 North to 295 North. Get off 295 North at Exit 28 (Brunswick). Pick up Route 1 in Brunswick, and follow for about 20 miles to Wiscasset.

From the North

Take 95 South to Augusta, Exit 112. From the Exit, take a left on to 27 East. Follow Route 27 until it intersects with Route 1 in Wiscasset.

US Route 1 in the Wiscasset area runs through Woolwich, Wiscasset, and Edgecomb. It is the major highway through the Midcoast region. During the summer, Route 1 in Wiscasset Village can be congested. Peak summer congestion occurs on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning on Route 1, north bound; and on Sunday afternoon (or Monday afternoon if part of a three-day weekend) on Route 1, south bound.

Concord Coach Lines operates daily bus service to Wiscasset, with one South bound bus stopping here in the morning and one Northbound bus stopping in the afternoon. Wiscasset Municipal Airport (KIWI) is a public use airport owned by the town of Wiscasset. It is located South of Wiscasset Village and is close to Route One. Forty aircraft, mostly single engine, are based at the field. Many services are provided by the airport operator, including fueling and maintenance.
