Wiscasset welcomes you to wander our historic waterfront village and enjoy
everything we love about our town, from the beautiful shops and eateries
along Main Street, our wonderful antique stores which so evoke the rich his-
tory of the neighborhood, to the galleries and museums which showcase the
talent and the times of Wiscasset.
The prettiest little village in Maine is so much more than a pretty village. We
are making improvements to our downtown to expand parking and visitor
amenities, and you’ll see the first major upgrades as you visit us this sum-
mer! Wider sidewalks for strolling and lingering to watch a sunset over the
bridge, an expanded parking along the waterfront and plans for further im-
provements by next summer will make Wiscasset easier for visitors to navi-
gate on foot or in a vehicle.
Look for the Friends of Wiscasset Village logo and know that you’ve found a
Friend who can help you find whatever you are looking for in Wiscasset,
from things to do to places to park.
