The Gardens of Lincoln County Tour will return on Saturday, June 21, 2025, offering a full day of exploring beautiful private gardens—just a stone’s throw from the water. After a sold-out event last year, the 2025 tour will feature a fresh lineup of gardens in one of the most scenic spots in the county. Early bird tickets are now available, and the event is expected to sell out.
This self-guided tour will showcase a diverse range of gardens, including colorful flower beds, peaceful woodland paths, creative landscaping, and stunning water views. These private gardens, typically not open to the public, offer a unique opportunity to experience the beauty and creativity of the region. Whether visitors are avid gardeners, casual plant enthusiasts, or simply enjoy spending time outdoors, this event promises a memorable experience.
In addition to the gardens, several nearby historic sites will be open for visitors during the tour, thanks to a collaboration with the South Bristol Historical Society. These optional stops provide a chance to learn about the area’s history while exploring the local gardens.
Tickets are now on sale, with early bird pricing available through June 1. Tickets are $25 for Lincoln County Historical Association members (using code EARLYMEMBER) and $30 for non-members (code EARLYBIRD). After June 1, prices will increase to $35 for members and $40 for non-members. A limited number of tickets may be available on the day of the event for $45, but advance purchase is highly recommended. Visit the LCHA website: www.lincolncountyhistory.org/garden-tour
Details about the featured gardens, including addresses, will be emailed to ticketholders on Friday, June 20.
Proceeds from the tour support the Lincoln County Historical Association and its work to preserve and share local history. The event is made possible thanks to the generous sponsorship of Sherri Dunbar of Tim Dunham Realty.
