“Sexual Harassment and Dating Violence: A Talk for School Personnel, Parents, Students and Other Professionals Serving Youth”
Nearly half of public-school students in grades 7-12 experience sexual harassment. To help address this important issue, New Hope Midcoast, in collaboration with Sexual Assault Support Services of Midcoast Maine (SASSMM), is bringing Dr. Nan Stein, Sr. Researcher at the Wellesley Centers for Women to Rockland and Boothbay for a community presentation. Dr. Stein co-led the development of “Shifting Boundaries”, a school-based dating violence intervention program. Educators, guidance counselors, school administrators, health and mental healthcare providers, parents, community members and agencies that work with youth are invited to attend.
Join us on Wednesday, September 27th at Mid-Coast School of Technology in Rockland from 4-5:30 p.m. or on Thursday, September 28th at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay from 4-5:30 p.m. for Dr. Nan Stein’s talk “Sexual Harassment and Dating Violence: A Talk for School Personnel, Parents, Students and Other Professionals Serving Youth.”
