Wiscasset Wormfest 2026 is coming up June 12-14, 2026
Digging Wiscasset is a 4-day promotional event for Wiscasset area businesses! This event helps businesses and the community get into the Wormfest spirit!
How it works
- In partnership with Wiscasset Wormfest, the Wiscasset Chamber will create and promote a social media event for Thursday, June 11th – Sunday, June 14th. Your business decides if you would like to participate in all four days or just one or two.
- You decide what you would like to offer! Do you give customers 10% off? A free kid meal with an adult entrée? Some gummy worms with purchase? Half off apps?! You decide what kind of promotion works best for your business!
- Does this promotion automatically take place? Only if you would like it to. People would have to show the social media ad or the the ad from the Chamber website for it to apply, or verbally tell your staff. You decide what you would like to do.
- Will it cost me to participate? No! In the spirit of Wiscasset Wormfest, we are doing our part in helping to build the community, and the businesses in it!
- Will there be perks for WACC Members? Yes! Not only will our members be highlighted on the event page, but also directly on our social media pages and Chamber Newsletter. A special highlight for members only!

What are my next steps?
Fill out our Digging Wiscasset participation form by May 15th. Please put together an ad/promotional PNG or JPG in a portrait or square format, along with any additional explanation you would like to go with it. Please have all promotional material to the Wiscasset Area Chamber by May 29th to participate.
