St. Philip’s Church, 12 Hodge St., Wiscasset is the place, and the Strawberry Festival the reason for celebration, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Strawberry shortcakes of  homemade biscuits, native berries, real whipped cream, or locally made ice cream. And there’s fresh-picked quarts of berries for sale. And a craft show, silent auction, and music by Matt O’Donnell! Bargain Basement features books, antiques, bake table, hot dog stand … and a children’s area filled with games and activities.
