Gardens Aglow – Opening night for friends and family is Friday, November 14. We’ll see increased traffic throughout the season on open nights. Garlands & Wreaths to Main Street – Saturday, November 15, 11 am
Garlands and bows and lights!! Join other volunteers to deck the halls all along Main Street. Contact Terry Heller if you want to participate. The more the MERRIER!!
Trees & Lights to Downtown Wiscasset – Tuesday, November 18th, 9:00 am
Wiscasset Parks & Rec will lead a team of volunteers to decorate the Creamery Pier, Recreational Pier, 30 Christmas trees, multiple Town Common areas, Lincoln Street (Scout Hall, Santa’s Workshop and Block Party), the Prettiest Village sign / entrance (Welcome to Wiscasset), as well as a number of crab apple / apple / hardwood trees (wrapping of the tree trunks and branches) throughout the downtown area. Wiscasset Area Chamber Christmas Tree Raffle November 21-December 7
Tickets will be available for purchase at the Wiscasset Community Center. Win a fresh tree with trimmings of ornaments, lights, prizes and gift certificates.
Decorate Wiscasset Storefronts – Sunday, November 23, 2 pm – Dark CANCELLED
** Sorry, this event has been cancelled.** Downtown businesses are invited to decorate their storefronts for the holidays. If you would like to have help decorating your business, or would like to volunteer to help, please reach out to Corrinna at info@visitwiscasset.com. Back River Bistro will have chili & hot chocolate (probably some bourbon) all afternoon and there will be a great big lighting countdown at 5:30!
